Update :)

Hi Guys,
Just a little note to let you guys know I will not be blogging daily but maybe weekly!!
I have decided to run a Charity Fashion Show for a charity that means so much to me it is very time consuming, the show is taking place on the 19th of July so I will be back to full time blogging after this.

I hope you understand that it is for such a good cause so I am going to use all my free time to contribute to the planning of the Fashion Show.

I will be posting when I can and will post pictures and details of the event!

Wish me luck,

Love

Rhianna for Armani!!!

Hi Guys,
So excited to view the new designs by Rhianna even though I know ill never afford these pieces ARMANI hellooo!!!:) way over my budget :( i know there will be high street copies, and for me that's fine but we can dream cant we????:)

Rhianna has just announced that she will be releasing a second capsule for the Italian company Armani.
It was due to hit stores mid April but has still not been launched.

I was very surprised at this collection as Rhianna is known for her risque style, and some of the designs are comfy, casual but yet still chic.

Rihanna for Armani second capsule collectionThis sketch is of a super stylish denim boiler suit, fantastic with flats or heels,a R and the famous Armani eagle emblem looks also to be included. An extra large white handbag design also in store for us!!I will be stalking the high-street for a replica boiler suit.
Worn by Rhianna:

In the next sketch we can see Rhianna's statement leather jacket,a visible bird print shirt, but my favourite are the shorts these shorts with tartan on the legs oh so fabulous and another cream xtra large bag!

Stylish: A edgy biker jacket, rolled-up shorts and lace-up boots resemble the Rihanna most are more familiar with. This sketch also shows another shirt, emblazoned with a bird print

I think we all seen Rhianna's love for tartan.

Rihanna for Armani second capsule collectionSurprisingly her designs also contain a slouchy colourful shirt, and her trademark casual fitted skinnys..Loving this look. Its like casual with heels:)

Shoes wise her statement lace-up boots are seen and some peep-toe shoes with tie able bows on the ankles cute..

SHHHH!!!but rumour is that the comfy style clothes will be made of stretch cotton and you know how the curves love love love stretch cotton,,also the underwear she is designing is said to contain glitter covered push-up bras,Glittery and Push-up what more could a girl ask for???:)

Vogue says NO a big step for the fashion world!!:)

WARNING:BLOG POST CONTAINS SOME PHOTOS THAT READERS MAY FIND HARD TO LOOK AT>

Hi Guys,
So I was reading some twitter news the other day,(I had wrote a whole blog post on it and the ghost in my laptop deleted it don't ask):)

but I discovered some exciting news VOGUE magazine in my opinion the worlds most influential fashion magazine held a meeting and Vogue editors worldwide decided that they would not use models that are under the age of 16 or any models which appear to have an eating dis-order.
They have decided to ask at ad campaigns, runways show etc..for ID off,of models that appear under the age of 16.

Vogue believes that good health is beautiful, and I believe this too.for too long magazines/runways etc..have used models that appear very young, gaunt or extremely thin too me this is not beauty or fashion this is wrong for the models and for us the consumers.I do not blame these models as they are under severe pressure to look commercial ie:thin and some not all resort to extreme measures eating disorders even starvation to stay thin.

A thing that really gets me is when fashion designers or model scouts say some of these unhealthy girls are athletic built or boyish lets take a look:

ATHLETIC/SLIM:

WHAT SOME OF THE FASHION   WORLD CALL ATHLETIC/SLIM :(

Mark Fast for Topshop held a London Spring 2010 Fashion Show  he decided to use 3 curvy plus-size girls now keep in mind these women were between a size 8-12 (sooo not plus-size) but this is how they were described??? it genuinely shocked me to find out that 2 female stylists that were part of the design team actually walked out on the designer because of his choice to use these women below: this to me is very disturbing that someone would actually quit work because of body size. What hope have we women on a better body image when other women are being so negative.I thought when this started that the idea of using curvy healthier model would catch on but it quickly disappeared.

If Vogue has taken such an important step for the fashion world maybe it will finally catch on throughout the fashion world.Vogue says the magazines will help "structure mentoring programs" for younger models and raise awareness of the problem of model health. They will encourage healthy working conditions backstage and encourage designers "to consider the consequences of unrealistically small sample sizes of their clothing, which limits the range of women who can be photographed in their clothes, and encourages the use of extremely thin models."

I am sooo excited that a pillar of the fashion world has made such a huge and positive statement.
Don't get me wrong there are some beautiful naturally slim models who deserve places on the runways all over the world but there are alot more girls who are way below the correct BMI and this should not be promoted!!These models can be role models for girls and sometimes that can have a negative effect.

Please let me know what your opinon is on this guys, comment me here or on twitter,

Some beauty news coming very soon,

Slan
